This is our version of a hard running B series street engine.  With the long rod design of this engine it revs like a small block.  It still makes enough torque to move most Mopar cars around easily.  At 10.0 to 1 compression with aluminum heads it lives on pump gas all day long.  Lots of power, great sound, and ease of maintenance.  This engine can be driven all the time.  You can tell everyone it is a 383! 

 

 

BLOCK:  Cleaned, magnafluxed, and hand inspected 383 “B”-series block.  Fully machined for your application.  Milodon main studs are installed before align-bore.  Billet aluminum rear seal retainer.

CRANKSHAFT:  3.380” stroke, 1018 forged steel crank, profiled, knife-edged and magnafluxed.

CONNECTING RODS:  6.760”, 4340 Cro-moly, H-beam rods with ARP 7/16” cap screw bolts and .990” pin diameter.

PISTONS:  Custom made, ROSS forged 2618 aluminum pistons, 10.0 to 1 compression.

RINGS:  TOTAL SEAL Advanced Profile Gapless top, street moly ring sets.

BEARINGS:  Clevite 77 rod and main bearings, fully coated

HEADS:  Edelbrock RPM Performer 84cc closed chamber performer heads.  S/S valves with undercut stems are used.  Pressure checked and reassembled with correct valve springs with special porting and polishing.

GASKETS: Fel-Pro gaskets are used throughout the engine.

VALVETRAIN:  Hughes aluminum roller rockers are used on top. 1.5 ratio rockers are used with billet aluminum hold-downs.

CAMSHAFT:  Comp Cams solid roller street camshaft.

LIFTERS:  Comp Cams solid roller lifters.

PUSHRODS:  Manton custom cro-moly pushrods sized for each engine.

TIMING CHAIN:  Steel billet double roller timing chain with Torrington bearing and cam button.  Brand new timing chain cover is used!

FASTENERS: ARP/Milodon fasteners are used throughout the engine.

OILING SYSTEM:  Milodon 7qt. low profile drag pan with external single line oiling system. Windage tray and S/S braided dipstick are included.

IGNITION:  MSD Pro-billet distributor with billet aluminum hold down and 8.5mm race wires.

INTAKE MANIFOLD:  Edelbrock 383 Victor intake manifold.  The manifold is port matched and cleaned up for every engine.  (This manifold might not fit under the hood of most Mopars.  Please check your application, a hood scoop may be required.)

CARBURETOR:  Holley 750 HP series 4150 carburetor with braided S/S fuel line.

VALVE COVERS:  Sheet metal aluminum valve covers with breather/oil filler installed.   

BALANCER:  ATI Super Damper

WATER PUMP:  Aluminum water pump housing with a Milodon HV water pump
