This is our 540cu. Mopar wedge ground pounder.  This engine is a beast!  At 725hp/675ftlbs of torque it will shred most of the competition.  We rate this engine conservatively, it is capable of more.  Unlike many of our competitors engines, there are no old used parts in this engine.  It’s no ready-to-die, 30 year old 400/440 block built on the ragged edge with lots of block filler and main girdles.  Everything is new and built to take the serious power this engine can dish out.  

BLOCK:  Mopar Perfromance high nickel cast iron block, cross-bolted main caps and billet rear seal retainer.

CRANKSHAFT:  4340 Cro-moly crankshaft 4.250” stroke, non-twist forging, induction hardened, 0.125” radius fillets, etc.

RODS:  4340 Cro-moly H-Beam rods, 7.100” in length.  .990” pin dia.  ARP 7/16” cap screw bolts, heat-treated, x-rayed, etc.

BEARINGS:  Clevite 77 rod and main bearings.  Fully coated rod and main bearings.

PISTONS:  Custom ROSS forged pistons.  10.5 to 1 compression ratio.  Fully coated with thermal barrier coating and moly coated skirts.

RINGS:  Total Seal gapless top moly ring sets

GASKETS:  Fel-Pro gaskets used throughout the engine.

HEAD GASKET:  SCE “Titan ICS” copper head gaskets.

FASTNERS:  ARP/MILODON fasteners used throughout the engine.

CYLINDER HEADS:  Edelbrock “Victor” cylinder heads.  Price includes mild porting and polishing to equalize runners and chambers.  With special valve job and valve work.   Fully coated combustion chambers, valve faces and exhaust runners.

VALVETRAIN:  Harland Sharp roller rockers w/billet aluminum hold-downs.

TIMING CHAIN:  Billet steel double roller w/Torrington bearing.

CAMSHAFT:  Comp Cams custom ground hyd. roller retrofit camshaft.

LIFTERS:  Comp Cams hyd. roller retrofit lifters.

PUSHRODS:  Custom Manton pushrods.

MANIFOLD:  Edelbrock “Victor 440” 4500-flange manifold.

CARB:  1050cfm Holley Dominator with braided S/S fuel line.

IGNITION SYS:  MSD Pro-billet distributor, 8.5mm race wires and billet aluminum distributor clamp.

OILING SYSTEM: Milodon oil pan and pick-up, S/S braided dipstick.

VALVE COVERS:  Fabricated sheet metal aluminum valve covers w/aluminum breathers and oil fill.

WATER PUMP:  Milodon HV water pump w/aluminum housing, 160deg thermostat and billet aluminum thermostat housing.

STARTER:  Powermaster high torque starter

BALANCER:  ATI Super Damper

PULLEYS:  Aluminum pulleys are included and installed on damper and water pump.

 

 

This engine comes complete top to bottom.  It has fully coated pistons and cylinder heads, and fully coated rod and main bearings.  No stone is left unturned in the care and assembly of this engine.  It's deburred and painted inside and out.  Each one is hand built for its intended purpose for maximum longevity and power.  We can reconfigure this engine for dedicated drag racing, or detune it for long drives, it's your choice.  This engine comes run-in and dyno tuned, ready to go.  Simply add oil, fuel and water.  Each engine is shipped on it's own engine cradle.  Price $19,350.00   Please call us today with any questions regarding this engine.
