STREET HEMI

 

 

This is the Hemi that drives across the country and back without problems.  It has a hydraulic roller camshaft and uses pump gas, but still sounds as a Hemi should.  Unlike some of our other engines, this Hemi makes daily-driveable, livable power.  It has 600hp/625ftlbs. of torque. 

BLOCK:  Mopar Performance Hemi block, high nodular cast iron, cross-bolted main caps with billet rear main seal retainer.

CRANK:  4340 Cro-moly 4.150” stroke, non-twist forging, induction hardened, .125” radius fillets, etc.

RODS:  4340 Cro-moly H-beam rods, 6.800”in length, .990” pin dia., ARP 7/16” cap screw bolts, heat treated, x-rayed, etc.

PISTONS:  Custom 2618 forged aluminum alloy pistons.  These pistons feature my own “Quench Dome” design, which greatly reduces detonation and improves efficiency.  These pistons also come fully coated with thermal barrier on top and moly coating on the sides to reduce scuffing.  10.0 to 1 compression.

RINGS: Total Seals gapless top moly ring sets.

BEARINGS:  Clevite 77 “Tri-Armor” coated rod and main bearings.

HEADS:  Stage V street replacement hemi heads.  2.25” intake valves, 1.90” exhaust valves, port matched with race valve job and thermal coated combustion chambers and valve faces.

VALVETRAIN:  Stage V investment cast roller rocker, chrome hardened shafts, with billet aluminum rocker stands.

GASKETS:  Fel-Pro gaskets are used throughout the engine except SCE “Titan ICS” copper head gaskets.

FASTENERS:  ARP fasteners used throughout the engine.

CAMSHAFT:  Crane Cams hydraulic roller retrofit camshaft

LIFTERS:  Comp Cams hydraulic roller retrofit lifters

PUSHRODS:  Manton custom-made Cro-moly pushrods.

TIMING CHAIN:  Billet double roller timing chain with Torrington Bearing and cam button.  Comes with new timing chain cover.  (Not a chrome timing chain cover, those leak)

OILING SYSTEM:  Milodon oil pan with matching pickup and S/S dipstick.

IGNITION SYSTEM:  MSD Pro-billet distributor, Blaster coil, Digital 6 box, and black MSD wires for a stock look.

VALVE COVERS:  Cast aluminum plain valve covers with painted black wrinkle finish for stock look.

INTAKE MANIFOLD:  Stage V dual quad single plane intake manifold.

CARBURETORS:  2 custom built PC Carb Holley 660cfm carbs setup for maximum drivability.

BALANCER:  ATI Super Damper

WATER PUMP:  Edelbrock water pump with new aluminum housing and 160deg. thermostat with billet aluminum housing, installed.

FLEXPLATE or FLYWHEEL:  Engine comes with SFI flexplate or flywheel, your choice.

STARTER:  Comes with new Power Master starter.

 

 

This engine comes complete from top to bottom, carb to pan.  Included is an SFI flexplate for your automatic trans, or an SFI flywheel for your manual trans.  The water pump comes installed on the engine.  Wires are pre-cut and fitted, as are linkage and fuel lines.  This engine is run-in and dyno tuned on 91oct. pump gas, so there are no surprises when you pull up to the pump.  Like all our engines, it features the same coatings treatment that we have used with great success in our race engine programs.  This helps tremendously in heat management and wear control.  This engine comes on it's own engine cradle, in its own crate.
